i heard the most ridiculous news ever.
im sure peeps who play Counter Strike will know bout this.
as we know, Team TitaNs won the overall Counter Strike
game competition Championship Gaming Series [CGS]
which means, they have an opportunity to turn professional
and be paid US$3O,OOO (S$45,700) a year to play in an international
league, plus any priaze money they win.
however, the General Manager of the Singapore Franchise, Mr. Chris Soh
picked Xt[C] as Singapore CSS representative.
obviously, upon hearing this news they were very disappointed and upset.
and the worst thing is, i happen to come across this website
GUESS WHAT I FOUND OUT ?
some fucked up reason behind the GM's decision :
"We didnt get drafted because we didnt agree to "donate" 50% of our salaries and future prize money to the GM organization, the SGGA.
He will only pick you if there are no alternative candidates or if you accept his "donation" terms.
Officially we werent picked because of "unsportsmanlike conduct". Go figure.
By the way, XTC is one of the teams belonging to SGGA." - Reuben "Kidon" Conceicao, Team Titans Manager.
thank god. the truth is reveal. After conducting a detailed investigation
with all parties concerned, CGS and Chris Soh have mutually agreed that
he will no longer serve as acting General Manager of the Singapore team. Effective immediately.
